New Nature Network Launch
Galway Rural Development launches a New Nature Network – Growing Greener Communities Together
Community groups across the region are invited to come together to plant the seeds of sustainability through the new Nature Network—a vibrant platform designed to connect community groups, share practical knowledge, and inspire real climate action from the ground up!
The Nature Network is all about connecting like-minded groups, individuals and organisations who care about their community and would like to learn more about the environment.
Whether you are a new group, a residents' association, a tidy towns team, a community garden, or any other type of group aiming to go greener, this is the perfect place to share ideas, learn new skills, and get inspired.
The Launch Event will take place on Tuesday 20th of May in the Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam, 7 to 9pm.
This event is free of charge and open to all groups in East Galway.
The event will feature guest speakers, informative pop-up stations, and plenty of time for networking.
You’ll find practical tools, expert advice, information on funding opportunities and real-life examples from other groups to help you make a real impact.
We are aiming to help groups become more environmentally aware and adopt greener practises. We also want to encourage collaborative projects that make the most of shared resources and ideas.
The focus is on practical takeaways—so everyone leaves with something useful to apply right away.
