Children and Youth

All ParentChild+ home visitors are employed from their local communities, and many were originally parents on the programme.

ParentChild+ Programme

The programme helps parents improve their children’s social, language and thinking skills from an early age, ensuring that children enter school ready to learn, with the skills they need to be successful throughout their education.

This has brought considerable value to both the delivery of home visiting and to creating transformational change in the local community.

Galway Rural Development are working with ParentChild + to develop this exciting programme.
