Developing and Growing Your 2016 Festival

Do you need assistance with growing your 2016 Festival? This practical three hour
programme will help your festival team understand the importance of incorporating the
proposition brand promise into your festival offering and assist you to develop your
festival’s appeal to domestic and international visitors through a range of sales and
marketing activities.

 An overview of the brand promise and how you can use that to win more visitors
 An understanding of priority international markets and segments for the proposition
 Examples of how festivals and events that are currently leveraging the brand promise
 Identifying local partners/experiences to cross sell and work with
 How to conduct research to inform future festival offerings

 Actions to market and sell your festival (including how to get onto the Fáilte Ireland

Galway Sports Partnership Programme Funding 2016

Galway Sports Partnership wish to announce the launch of their programme funding for 2016.

This funding is intended to help clubs, organisations and communities to deliver programmes or projects of physical activities to persons who do not normally take part. Increasing participation in physical activity is the underpinning principle of this funding and the cooperation of clubs, groups and communities is vital to the successful delivery of this principle.

When applying for funding under this funding scheme applicants should be able to demonstrate how the programme will target persons/groups in their communities who do not presently participate in any form of physical activity.

Applicants should be able to show that they have a good level of match funding. This can be in the form of cash or benefit in kind. All programmes that receive funding under this scheme must be completed by the 1st December 2016.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 4pm Friday the 5th February 2016
