NUI Galway will be hosting an Information Evening for Adult and Mature Learners on Wednesday Jan 15th. The event will take place in the Institute for Lifecourse and Society (ILAS Building) from 5.30-8pm.

This special information evening is designed for Mature & Adult Learners who maybe considering studies at NUI Galway in 2020.

Perhaps you never thought it was possible and could not for a diverse range of reasons attend third level in earlier years. Or perhaps you are looking to upgrade existing skills or wish to study part-time. Maybe you need advice on Career options through one-to-one consultations. Whatever you are looking for, NUI Galway’s professional advisors and academics can advise you.The Event includes:

Free one-to-one career consultations* provided by the Career Development Centre
*Available on a first come, first served basis (limited numbers available)

Stands – chat to our staff and find out about all the courses & services available to Adults
Mature students, Access courses, Part-time courses & Postgraduate courses

Talks – 6pm: What is a mature student?
Entry requirements, CAO application procedure, entry assessments, scholarships, fees & funding.
6:30pm: What is an Adult Learner?
Entry requirements, part-time courses available, NFQ Level etc.
