Homework Support Club Supervisor

Following on from an application to tender for a Homework Club Support Service, GRD are now seeking a Supervisor for a Homework Club which is being run in Gort. 

Galway Rural Development has the above vacancy on consultant contract, beginning September 2016 and ending June 2017 (subject to funding)

Based in Gort and reporting to GRD, the Home Work Club Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day running of the homework club.

Requirements for the post:  The chosen candidate will have a relevant third level qualification, relevant experience (homework club/youth club/youth project/school), and an understanding of the factors associated with poverty and social disadvantage, particularly focussing on issues affecting Ethnic Minorities/Travellers.  Knowledge of the Portuguese language is desirable. Garda vetting will apply.
