Expressions of Interest Call for Community Organisations who wish to apply for a Community Services Programme

Galway Rural Development - Tuesday, June 06, 2017

Galway Rural Development Company CLG (GRD) has been invited by the Department of Social Protection to nominate one applicant community organisation from County Galway (excluding Galway City) to be considered for CSP funding.  The aim of CSP, operated by the Department of Social Protection (DSP), is to support legally incorporated community organisations to provide local social, economic and environmental services through the application of a social enterprise model of delivery.

To be considered under this targeted EOI call, social enterprises must be:

  • A company limited by guarantee (CLG) or co-operative.
  • Able to present clear evidence that they provide a service that meets a community need and are serious about providing employment opportunities for those most distant from the labour market.
  • Up and running and generating a traded income as a social enterprise, with a set of accounts available.

The process has two stages. Stage 1 - GRD will select one social enterprise from applications received and submit their EOI. Stage 2 – EOI submissions will be appraised and DSP will decide which social enterprises proceed to the business planning stage. Funding is limited and selection at Stage 1 does not guarantee progression to the business planning stage.

Deadline: The completed EOI form must be submitted to GRD via email to patriciakelly@grd.ie by 5pm on Thursday 22nd June 2017.

EOI Form and guidelines are available at the bottom of the page or via email or post by contacting Patricia Kelly, Email: patriciakelly@grd.ie, Tel: 091-844335

Tá iarrtha ag an Roinn Coimirce Sóisialaí ar Chuideachta Forbartha Tuaithe na Gaillimhe CTR (GRD) Iarratas amháin ó Ghrúpa Pobail i gContae na Gaillimhe (níl an limistéir cathrach san áireamh) a aimniú le haghaidh an phróisis measúnaithe do mhaoiniú CSP.  Tá sé mar aidhm ag an CSP tacaíocht a chur ar fail d’eagraíochtaí pobail, atá corpraithe go dlíthiúil, chun seirbhísí sóisialta, eacnamaíochta agus comhshaoil a sholáthar go háitiúil, tríd múnla seachadta fiontar sóisialta.

Chun a bheith curtha san áireamh faoin glaoch spriocdhírithe EOI seo ní mór d’ Fhiontair Sóisialta

  • Fianaise shoiléir a chur ar fáil go bhfuil an tseirbhís atá á sholáthar acu ag comhlíonadh riachtanas pobail agus go bhfuil said dáiríre faoi dheiseanna fostaíochta a chur ar fáil dóibh siúd is faide ón margadh fostaíochta.
  • A bheith ag feidhmiú agus ag giniúint ioncam trádála mar fhiontar sóisialta, agus sraith cuntas ar fáil uathu
Tá dhá chéim sa phróiseas:  Céim 1:  Roghnóidh GRD fiontar sóisialta amháin as na hiarratais faighte agus cuirfear an EOI sin faoi bhreith an DSP. Céim 2:  Déanfaidh DSP meastóireacht ar na EOI agus roghnófar na fiontair sóisialta a bheidh ag dul ar aghaidh go dtí an chéim pleanála gnó.
