  •                           Home Work Club Supervisor GORT (12 hours per week)

    Galway Rural Development has the above vacancies on consultant contract, beginning January 2019 and ending June 2019.

    Based in Gort and reporting to GRD, the Home Work Club Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day running of the homework club.  And will be supported by an Assistant.

    Requirements for the Supervisor post:  The chosen candidate will have a relevant third level qualification, relevant experience (homework club/afterschool club/youth club/youth project/school), and an understanding of the factors associated with poverty and social disadvantage, particularly focussing on issues affecting Travellers/New Communities. 

    Desirable:

    Child safeguarding/ Children First training

    Note: Garda vetting will apply.

    Knowledge of the Portuguese language.
