Killimor

Killimor is a rural village situated on the N65 between Loughrea and Portumna, approximately 35 miles east of Galway City. The main livelihood of the area is farming, dairy and mixed, shops and pubs on the main street and some self-employed people.

There are two attractive parks in the area, one along the banks of the Kilcrow River and one in the village. There are also fine fishing areas in the area. The local churches attract interest from many visitors and the local 'big house' was part of a huge estate which has its own history and heritage.
