Clonberne

Clonberne is located 17 km from Tuam, 42 km from Ballinasloe and 50km from Galway city. Clonberne is a half-parish of Kilkerrin and share most of its features. In the past, agriculture was the main source of income but now a lot of the population travel outside the community for employment in places such as Tuam, Ballinasloe and Galway. The area has some good fertile land, surrounded by bog, which in the past was a valuable asset.
